How do I change Welch Allyn Otoscope or Ophthalmoscope light bulbs?

To change the lamp in your Welch Allyn Otoscope or Ophthalmoscope, follow these simple steps:

• Turn your instrument head counter clockwise to unscrew it from the power handle.
• Remove the lamp from the base of the instrument head (using the key provided with the replacement globe or needle holders) by pulling it straight out.
• Insert the replacement lamp by pushing it straight into the base of the instrument head.
• Once you have replaced the lamp, reattach your instrument head to the power handle by turning clockwise to screw into place.
